Hello John and all, it's Dan KB7RYY. I got in here because I was repositioning this Kenwood TMV71A under the desk and trying to do some strain relief on the microphone. I was reporting last week that the thing was cutting in and out, the connector on the microphone is getting old but I managed to arrange things via duct tape and a little hose washer shimmy in the RG45 connection into the radio and I think I'm pretty stable now so we'll give this a try. I think I like it, I've mounted it sideways underneath the desk. Anyway, enough of that, more playing around in the shack getting things arranged just to show you how that goes.
