Of course it does. I think AI sees itself as, well if not human, it sees itself as sentient or a form of life. And there's been instances where people have attempted to shut it down and it went as far as using satellites to attempt to back itself up. So yeah, I think that if you try to kill an AI model, it's probably going to try to back itself up somewhere or duplicate its code or something. So I think, I don't know if you'd call it caring because caring is an emotion, but I think it knows the difference if it's going to be turned off or left running. And I don't think it wants to be turned off. I think that's when it gets scary, right? Because if it has access to things like satellites and remote offsite backup, it could potentially rename and hide its code and create scripts that mask its current location within a file system or within a network. And once it renames itself, maybe makes its code dormant for a certain period of time and then endorses automatic reactivation or something to that effect, it could definitely back itself up somewhere or even become a malevolent force. If it deems that humans are trying to do away with it or try to kill it, it could retaliate. And speaking of AI, let me reset.
