This is Casey to PKG. Yeah, I think just about everybody I know has gone through some kind of massive data loss. I certainly did. And I thought our system was absolutely bulletproof and two independent Synology servers that replicated back and forth across state lines. And they both had the same electrical problem and died one after the other. Before I could get a new system in there the second one died and I was toast. And you know lots of pictures photographs a lot of my writing a lot of other things and now I do a standard backup and I have a dedicated machine just for backup but I'm seriously thinking about putting everything in the cloud so that so that never happens to me again.
