So over the long stretch, birthdays are actually becoming longer due to the planet's rotation slowing. So right now with the way the moon moves up and down, yes we get days when we're, we get shorter days, but on the whole, the days are actually becoming longer. Our rotation is going. And about a billion to two billion years ago, Earth experienced a day about 19 hours long, and this could have been due to the moon slowly moving away from us. So it's moving right now from 1 to 1.5 inches a year, so that's 2.54 to about 3.81 meters a year. So in about 15 billion years, the moon will stop moving away from us. However, this is kind of a moot point at this juncture because the sun will have entered its red time phase and it will be called the inner planet for about 6 to 7 billion years. But in 15 billion years the moon will stop moving away from us.
