Well for this one, the first obvious answer, and I didn't know the second one at all, but the first one is camouflage. You know, light and dark colors help the animals hide when they're in forced areas where you're getting a smattering of light and shadows. They actually help regulate body temperature. And they help the animals like dogs, they help sweat the way we do, they help touch the way we do. And so they're, they're, the temperature's regulated through their spots. And right under each spot, there's a really dense network of blood vessels. And as the animal heats up, the vessel dilates and moves closer to the skin surface. And once it gets closer to the skin surface, heats then releases, and the animal cools off. And how we discovered this is a thermal pool of the species.
