Yeah, well, thankfully they got to remove the CW portion. It's its own exam now So we got our basic And then advanced and CW and if you pass your basic with 80% or better you get basic with honors Which grants you grants you your full HF privileges? But doesn't allow you to run remote equipment or build your own equipment or work on your equipment Which is the reason I want to get my advanced because I am a radio Electronics technician. I want to work on stuff and build stuff So I got some studying to do and another exam to do I'm quite happy to get rid of CW I don't much see the point in forcing somebody to learn CW to have a radio license where they're going to be using sideband and it's If I ever have the need for CW I've got software that'll read and send CW So I'm not too worried about it. Don't plan on needing it And don't plan on going for my take my license for it
