Well, they're issued for life, but I think when we pass we're supposed to or somebody is supposed to inform Industry Canada that that person has passed so that their call sign gets released and can be reused I'm not real sure about that. But yeah, I quite like that our signs are our license and our call sign is issued for life. I Know I've got mine I can take my time now and Finish my studying. I want to do write my advanced license and then I know I've got my advanced license for life Because I went through all this when I was in the Air Force I learned radio fury and I studied like crazy wrote all kinds of tests got qualified so now I got a dust off what I used to know and Get it back in my mind so that I could write these exams Most people When they write the exam, they're studying for the exam. So they're reading the questions and memorizing their questions and answers But they don't necessarily know the radio theory, which I think is the testing process I think is a little a little backwards
