There's a few that are good to start with. I use Linux Mint, a specific flavor of Linux Mint. Their main one with, they call it the Cinnamon desktop, very similar to Windows. A lot of people call it as a really good entry point for people coming from Windows. It functions very much the same. Once you boot up, if you've got printers, it will find your printers. It uses Discovery, it's going to find most of your hardware. I'm running mine on a, oh God, it's got to be a 10 year old Lenovo laptop that I got off of eBay. The touch screen works, the fingerprint reader works, everything just worked out of the box. The camera, everything. And it all worked first boot. There's no playing around, and there's lots of videos for support. There's lots of groups for support. It's great, it runs all my programs. I do all kinds of crazy stuff on my laptop and I haven't been able to kill it yet.
