The old TRC radios had Cobra guts, Cobra intestines. The HT they made, the HTX-202, that big, it's huge, it's like a big HT. It's kind of similar to the ICOM-2AT. I get confused. I have one of the ICOMs. I don't remember what it is. I think it might be a 2AT or 2-A-T. I bought it at a ham fest in the 90s, like maybe a year after I was licensed. I probably bought it on the 9 nickel, 9.5. And it was already old then. And all I know about that make, and they used to sell it at Radio Shack, but all I know about that make is it has the thumb wheel for tuning around when you put frequencies in it. But if you want old Radio Shack crap, you can look through UNITIN, ICOM, Cobra. Radio Shack used to have a half decent realistic desk mic that you could use for everything, right? HF, CB, whatever, right? As long as you wired it proper, because they have that 5-DIN plugs, which are hella gay. So you want to chop those off, put either a 5-pin or a 4-pin standard connection, right? Radio Shack's kinda extra. That's not good, by the way, when they have the 5-DIN plugs. So that desk mic that they had, Cobra makes it. So all isn't totally lost.
