And between October 1 and 7, European Space Agency's ExoMars Trace Gas Orbiter, I'll just use the acronym for that as I go on here, TGO, and the Mars Express Spacecraft, they had their instruments looking at this interstellar comet, the 3I Atlas, and fortunately it was passing by Mars so they could get some pretty interesting data about it. So these two Mars orbiters, they had the best sighting of this object as it's passing by. And during its closest approach to Mars, this was on October 3, the comet was about 30 million kilometers away. Both of the orbiters, they used their onboard cameras to track the comet's path. And instruments are typically designed to capture the surface, the surface brightness of Mars from a few hundred to a few thousand kilometers away. The original overhead, so observing this really faint object at such a huge distance has been a pretty major challenge, but they still managed to get some data on it.
