And this is basically that states that if an unstable object is observed with any regularity, it will never decay. So therefore if dark energy is continuously observed, it's being kept in a stable state. And that's actually reducing the universal lifespan by forcing it back to when it was a false factor. That's actually part of the principle that's referred to as the Anthropic Universe, which basically describes that the characteristics of the universe are created because it's being observed. So if you have an observer there, or any measurable means of determining some event in the universe, that is actually forming the characteristics of the universe. So think of it this way, every time you look up in the night sky, you're observing, you're also changing the characteristics of the universe, that's the Anthropic Universe.
