So out of the western Pacific Ocean, typically the typhoon area where these systems are called typhoons, there was Typhoon Matmo that formed early in October, that battered South China in early October around the 6th, and that caused significant impacts from flooding, erosion, and that was the costliest system of the year so far to impact anywhere in the Pacific, and the estimated damage for that is about $2 billion. And of course, I'll get to this a little later on, there were some typhoon remnants that impacted Alaska, and that did a fair bit of damage to a number of villages, so we're going to discuss that later on in the net. And then in the eastern Pacific, there was Hurricane Priscilla, that formed and that paralleled the southwest coast of Mexico, but it didn't really, there were some coastal waves and stuff, but in terms of hard impacts there weren't any. And globally, so far the strongest storm of the season so far, 2025, has been Typhoon Ragatha, and that was in the western Pacific, and that attained a minimum pressure of 905 HPA, so quite low, and the deadliest system so far of 2025, that was the tropical system, was a deep depression in the north Indian Ocean, which caused 111 deaths in Nepal, India, and Bhutan, and that one was, you get these storms forming like in the Bay of Bengal, and they moved north, and that's essentially what this was, it was the equivalent of a tropical storm, but it was super slow moving, it moved into areas with high densities for population, and you had a lot of death, those results from the flooding. Several other things we'll discuss, Europe, Spain and Britain, there was a lot of flooding in Spain, there was also in Britain, the insurance companies over there, they were basically saying that there's a new flood risk that has been modeled throughout much of the area that constitutes Britain, and some towns with sea level rise and storm surge might potentially need to be abandoned due to the escalating problems of coastal erosion, sea level rise, and of course, flooding with tidal surges and storm surges, that sort of stuff, so that's a bit of a problem.
