Jack, believe it or not, I've thought about this. How did the bagpipes come to be? I think what happened... Pardon me, I'm choking on some breadcrumbs. I think what happened is some scots were like challenging each other and they were like, I bet you could pick up that goose over there and make it squeak to some music. And so of course somebody took that bet and walked big because you know, you don't want to mess with Keith. So they just decided to make an instrument that was a surrogate goose and hence the bagpipe. I think that's how the bagpipes came to be. KB9IQS.
