QST, QST, QST, good morning and welcome to the Worldwide Friendship Net. My name is Dave, I call sign Alpha Bravo 7 Delta Whiskey and I'll be your host today. This net starts at 7 am Pacific time, 10 am Eastern time and 1400 UTC right now. That's got to change pretty soon here. This net is open to all amateur radio operators worldwide licensed and we'd love to hear from you so people like to check in. Before we begin the net I'd like to thank the following people for the use of the reflectors and repeaters. That would be Michael Walpus, W8MW for the use of the very nice 9617 Michigan reflector and 9617 Michigan conference server which we're on right now. I'd like to thank Darrell Wilford, VL1UKZ for the use of the do drop in and the do drop in for linking those in so that we're all together here this morning. I'd like to thank all the node owners and all of you for being here because without you guys we wouldn't be able to link this net together. Emergencies take top priority on this net and every other net on amateur radio. If you have an emergency that we can help with, please break the net with a double break and we'll stop the net and see if we can help you out and move on with it from there. This is a popular net and to make it fair for all users check ins lasting more than 4 minutes including mic drops may be muted by net control. I have a question of the day for you as I try to every weekend that I'm doing a net. Today is if you can have dinner tonight with any famous person past or present who would it be and it can't be your spouse. So the question of the day again is if you could have dinner tonight with a famous person past or present and they don't have to be alive either who would it be and not your spouse. Let's take our first round of check ins and make that a short time and mobile or a short time more mobile and we'll get you in here and get you out quick. Come on now with your call sign slowly in phonetics and twice please. P01 UKZ, P01 UKZ, short time making lunch.
