VA3KKY, Alpha Echo 7, Mike Romeo, you're talking to the ultimate distracted driver. I have a 67Z200 pickup that I throw with. I put a Model 300 gear shift in it which brings the gear shift from down at your knees to driving circle level. I've been known to have a coffee cup in that hand, the gear shift, a hamburger in the other hand and a little finger around the steering wheel. Of course if anything were to happen I just dropped the whole works in the floor. I've been known to be the ultimate and a CHP officer pulled me over one time and she said, how in the world did you see me coming? I was on the side of the road and I said, I know where you were. He said, how come you could see me coming? I said, I'm not going to explain the thing. I said, just climb up in there and pull the doors out and you'll see for yourself. And he said, my goodness, I can see 400 yards behind your trailer. This is amazing. But yeah, I'm the ultimate distracted driver. I've been able to, and that's before cell phones so you can imagine with cell phones what kind of damage I won't do. If I do anything with my cell phone it's in my driving circle so I can see what I'm doing. I don't put it down like a lot of people do and do the texting. I put it right up in, if I'm going to get a ticket I'm going to be seen. A, E7, M1, back to the group. Thank you for bringing me in because you can't pick me up. Alpha, ethical 7, Michael, Romeo. Oh yes, no problem Terry and we'll get back to you. And yeah, I said, yeah, I saw you on the text window and anyone else that's trying to get in. Of course, you can always do that as well. Yeah, there's also distracted walking. Just imagine that. There was a real terrible thing that kind of happened when I was in high school. And it was in North York, in Toronto and North York. One of my music teachers, Mr. Rondo, if he's still even around, he was a really cool dude. Anyways, he had brought in a story into the class because he was really late for his class. Can you open the camera? Can you open the camera? Yeah, you can see through the phone. Well, he was late, right? We were screwing around, playing our instruments and stuff. It was a regular day. He had said that he was late because he was talking to the police. And he had had a buddy that the police killed. They were telling him about it. Then he relayed the story to us. The guy was on a foot chase with the cops. Never said why, right? I don't know. And Mr. Rondo didn't say why. The kids asked him. But he just went on with his story. He didn't answer. He said that the guy was shot down by the police because they saw him reaching into his pocket. And later on they determined that he was reaching in to probably turn his Walkman off. He had a pair of headphones and a Walkman on. They thought he was reaching for a gun. And so they killed him because of that. But he was only just probably trying to turn the volume down or turn the Walkman off. So he could hear shouting. Because he heard shouting all around him. And so he probably wanted to ask about that. So he had told us that the guy was shot down by the police. And all he was doing was reaching for a Walkman. And so it was complicated. He couldn't get away from them. So that's why the delay, sorry I'm late. That was the greeting he gave us one afternoon. I kind of remember that. Then he had also commented, because he's not from Toronto. Right? So he had been, and I was one of the kids from Toronto. He's not even from North York. Right? So he had said at the time, Kevin your town is starting to get very funky. The police and the people are starting to just act very funky. So that's what he said. And I think he meant in the original sense of what funky is. It's not like cool hip hop cool like people have made it. Right? Funky just means something stank. Something will stank up in here. It's not supposed to be good. But people have turned it good. Right? Like say that guy over there playing the record, he's funky. So they've turned it into something good. Alright, well, looking at the time here, let's see if anyone else would like to check in before I figure out what to do here. I'm going to also count the names. So if you'd like to check in, you've got another chance here to come out.
