Well, good evening Rebecca. It's about an hour past beer o'clock. I drank a lovely pint of Demolition Ale, which is this hoppy kind of light ale that Elliott Bay makes that's got a tremendous kick to it. I drank it tonight because if I drank it tomorrow night, I have to sing Sunday morning and perform for the harp group on Sunday afternoon. So I didn't actually want to drink on Saturday night, so I had it tonight instead. Let's see. First lines. There's this thing in writing that they tell you that the first line of your manuscript should be a zinger. For example, I have a manuscript about one of my characters that starts, Welcome to Topaz. Now go soak your head, which of course is about this horribly rainy port that she steps into. Or, It felt odd to see my living room sitting on my porch. About somebody who'd been evicted from her quarters. Or, It's a deep dark secret that mothers with nerves of steel cry the hardest. Which got my manuscript read by David Steel. So the first line is very important. So this weekend's project is to get first lines for all three of the Mindbenders, Gambit, Revenge, and Triumph, those three books. Anyway, that's my project this weekend. Oh yes, and rewriting the scenes that seem to have disappeared into the dustbin of history. Anyway, that's about all the news and practicing for my harp performance on Sunday. And my other performance on Sunday. That's about it. Boring life. 73-33-88. Thanks to Rebecca for doing the net, and thanks to all of you for listening to my bladder. This is, you're all great. This is KA9EHV back to net.
