Cool cloudy day here in Southwestern Ontario. We had a few showers and the temperature right now is about 11 degrees so it's cool, about 52 degrees Fahrenheit. Going a little bit cooler tonight. We had one day of frost last week but actually a lot of my flowers are still blooming and they're still fine so I haven't taken them out yet which is great. I'll keep going and I mowed the lawn yesterday. The leaves are starting to fall but there's not much colour change. We were at the gym today for a while and enjoyed that. I've been playing around active on CW lately. Mostly US contacts but quite a few, a few into Europe. I was trying to get Echo 51 Whiskey Mike Alpha, the station in South Cook Islands that I think he's there for another day or two. I think he's almost done. I wasn't able to. I heard him and I heard him on 10 metres but it was just a zoo and I didn't get into him. Because of the density of the broadcast stations they're all pretty much directional here and they're quite directional. I did a test once on AM740 and it's amazing how the knoll is deep on one side. It was an interesting experiment. Anyway, back to you Dave from VE3XDB.
