It is a multi-station effort. Dave had the Santa Watch Net for years, and essentially what it was is Dave was tracking the radar, tracking Santa's positions, and reporting it over there for the benefit of any kids listening to get them to bed and stuff. And then after several years, we brought Santa Claus on board. And Santa would be there with a radio in the sleigh to talk to any kids that had last minute changes to their list or just wanted to talk to Santa. And then we started doing that. Now, it's a multi-station effort. Jeanette, KI5 SSR down there in Texas, who's a great net control and a great friend. Her and her husband Mike. Jeanette is primary net control. Dave is still tracking the radar and reporting all of that to Santa's positions and stuff from NORAD. Yours truly plays Santa Claus. And Bill was in the background last year and the year before, logging and making sure Santa was getting the kids' names along with the licensed ham that checked in and their call sign and everything. And then in the background, while the net is going on, the appropriate information is being fed to me. So when I come on as Santa, I've got a list of kids' names there that are already prepared and typed up. And I run down through them, talk to all the kids or any adults that want to talk to Santa. And then we pass it over to Dave and then he does the radar thing and then back to Jeanette. And she takes more check-ins and kids' names and stuff. It's just an all-around good time here on Christmas Eve. So for anybody that is available or anybody that has small kids in particular that want to talk to Santa, I'll be getting my ho ho ho starting at 6 p.m. Eastern on Christmas Eve. So all are welcome.
