Yeah, Daryl, Linux doesn't panic anymore. As long as you're not getting into it and fighting with it. If you're just a general user, something like Linux Mint or some of the new immutable Linuxes, they don't panic, they don't crash. I've been running my laptop for over seven years on the same install of Linux. Haven't had it crash once. I've been using Linux since the early 2000s, man. It's the way to go. I wouldn't get a Mac. You're stuck buying all Mac stuff with Linux. Your software is free. Support is free and there's lots of it. Back to Ned. I agree, Ben. I agree. But I just, I'd hate to recommend something and then have it panic. I've had Ubuntu panic before. Granted, I was trying to recompile a driver to make an obscure piece of hardware work that didn't. And I recompiled the driver and it didn't work and it panicked. So, but if you're just doing basic stuff, yeah, you're right. Maybe they don't really panic anymore. But if you're doing anything a little bit advanced at all with the command line and you mess something up, they'll still panic. I've had them do it. I've had Linux panic. I've had Ubuntu panic. And I've had Mint panic. But I was doing moderate to advanced stuff.
