So yeah, this is the HT with the stock antenna, the F6 at 4 watts. I'm going to get that. I've got the shrink tubing and I'm ready to, got the wires stripped and I'm ready to just put them together and use patience and shrink tube before I twist and solder and put the mic wires and two others on a six wire mic and I got the wiring conversion diagrams and I got to get that two meter thing running. I'll probably put my yagi up and down of course on the other end of this counter weighted stick on my tripod and in a living room again and see what I can get by shooting down toward Portland down the Cascade Range. I hit St. Helens wonderfully and on St. Helens at 9,000 feet was easy, W7NY. So yeah, it's kind of breezy out here but refreshing for good fresh air.
