K4HN, VK2DY, Robert in Northwest New Guinea, where it's currently 31 Celsius, 88 Fahrenheit. You get a couple degrees warmer than that, but it's overcast, so that's going to keep the temperature down a little bit here. Looks like we're going to have a bit of a weather situation tonight when the cold front passes over. We're going to get some thunderstorms, wind, hail, and all sorts of good stuff. So, it might be an exciting evening today. We'll have to just wait and see what comes of it. Anyway, well yeah, I've lived in North America. I know what cold is like. I've never actually gone camping in the cold except once accidentally. Back in many, many, many years ago, back in the 80s, we were camping, tent camping actually, and we decided, it was very early June, and we decided to go up to Jasper and Banff. Beautiful. There's those four national parks there are just beautiful up there in Alberta and BC. Anyway, we decided to go up there, and we decided to go up to Jasper and camp. We set up our tents that night, and the next morning it snowed. It was snowed, and everything was frozen. The ice in the cups was frozen, and man, that was a miserable experience. I think we cut our visit to, no we didn't. We actually went and stayed in the hotel for the next night in Jasper. But, a beautiful place, but man, it's cold up there. They're so far north that they get snow in June sometimes. So, that's my biggest experience in cold weather camping here. In Sydney, of course, last winter we did not get below freezing. Winter before we got two days below freezing. So, yeah, we're a pretty mild climate here. It rarely, if ever, it never freezes solid, of course, because we've got palm trees here. They couldn't deal with it. But, as you get further up into the mountains, you do get colder weather. We actually have ski fields here that the snow is still partially covering them. Actually, I looked at the ski cameras today, and yeah, there's still some snow there. So, there are places that do get cold, but they tend to be higher elevation and away from where people live. So, it's not very common here. So, other than that, of course, just the normal dealing with winter, I hate ice, and I hate ice on the ground. I'm so happy that I will never see that again. Every winter I would go out and not remember that it was, that ice was out there, and I would end up falling flat on my back or side or somewhere. Yeah, so I don't miss, I do not miss winter, interestingly enough. Anyway, thank you so much for taking my check-in. BK2DY, back to Ned.
