K4HM, Net Control for the RV Radio Network's Thursday night Echo Link and Multi-Mode Net. Good evening Hank and good evening to all aboard from Whistie One India Kilo, Jim. Portable 5 in Elmendorf, Texas on our last evening of the fall rally for the RV Radio Network 2025 sitting out at the picnic table underneath the awning of the coach with my brother Randy standing alongside. He's getting ready to take a night bike ride and see if he can't run into a tree but he does have some lights on his bike so I can't see him. And any extent with regard to cold weather camping, Randy and I did experience some cold weather in this coach shortly after I bought it. It probably would have been the fall of 2018. We were up at Muskellunge State Park on the shores of Lake Superior in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, a little tiny, tiny wide spot in the road called Deer Park, Michigan. Deer Park is right in the halfway point between Whitefish Point and Grand Marais, if you're familiar with the southern shoreline of Lake Superior. We were up there at about this time of year actually, might have been a little later into October, but we got surprised by a cold snap and snow storm came through. As a matter of fact, it was quite windy the entire time we were there, but it was above freezing most of the time except for a night or two before we were getting ready to leave. It did get below freezing and we got surprised by a rather significant snowstorm with some high winds and some other stuff. Now we were at a state park campsite that had only electric hookups so we didn't have a water supply or sewer hose deployed to worry about and we were pretty well self-contained by, my coach is not a four-season coach officially, but it does have, let me break.
