It's fascinating, you know, but I'm wondering how they're doing it this day and age, because I know that when it comes to Apple, the phone is linked to your iCloud account. You know, it's linked from the serial number of the device, and you can factory reset it all you want, but you still need that info, right? Even if you take the phone and you hook it up to a computer, and you completely remove the operating system and flash it back with the new OS and all that stuff, there's a chip in these phones, a T something chip or whatever the hell it is, that stores your iCloud information and whether your device is encrypted or not. Android phones have the same thing now. You know, if it's linked to a Google account, or if you have a Samsung phone, it's linked to two accounts then. It's linked to your Samsung account and your Google account, and without that information, you can't use the phone. And I know about clockwork mod recovery and TWRP and all this stuff. You can, you know, go in and you can pull the partitions of the phone off, and you can repartition it, and then reinstall an OS and reinstall a custom ROM and all this kind of stuff. But at the end of the day, that phone is still linked to that iCloud account. It's not only a database anymore of, you know, stolen phones based on their IMEI or their ESN number. It's like physically locked to an account, so you can't activate it or turn it on without that info. So I'm wondering how they're getting around that, Greg. Have you heard anything about that?
