My father had me see the Navy guy because he knew I had bad hearings. He wanted me to enlist as a radio operator in the United States Navy. I saw the recruiter. My father already had it arranged. And everything was, you know, I was disqualified because of my hearing. So now I got it out and said I never have to serve. So I had some back burners. I had things going on in my back burners just to make sure I never had to serve in the military.
