Jack, no, I never tried making a mead, and I've always been interested in it. I used to, before I got into wine making, I was doing home brewing, and just from extract. I never went the whole hog and did it from the grains, but I really enjoyed home brewing for a couple of years, and I always saw the mead recipes. I always wanted to do it. It's reminiscent too of the biking days or something like that. No, Jack, I never did, but your description makes it sound awfully appealing. Back to you, WB7J.
