Well hey Paul, 73, thanks for having us, this is Jeff in KK7 QES. And Dan and Hunter, sorry for stepping on you guys there earlier, I think all of the KK7 stations were trying to get in. Anyway, I've had a mostly productive and enjoyable evening over here. My wife and girls hosted one of their besties and her mom to do some sewing projects after school. And stayed for most of the evening, so I took the opportunity to go outside and get some of the remaining winterization tasks done that were kind of lingering. And then tomorrow if the sunshine holds out, I'm going to get the last of our Halloween decorations done. The only remaining thing at this point is the LED lights that go down the sides of the driveway. So that'll be cool. We seem to do something different every year for Halloween. There's some interesting little feature. Last year there was a, I don't know, three dozen ghosts hanging from one of our trees in our front yard. This year I managed to find a skeleton made of plastic on eBay for quite cheap. And so a few nights ago I snuck into the yard when everyone in the house was asleep and set up the skeleton as if he was pushing the lawnmower and mowing the front lawn. And my wife and girls got quite a kick out of that in the morning. They decided to name him Moe because he is mowing the lawn. So anyway, that's going on. And then I've been enjoying the net here tonight. While I was kind of winterizing things, I made a quick trip over to Home Depot. I needed to get some stuff and I picked up some wire for an antenna I am working on. I am putting together a loop on the ground antenna, which is, as I understand it, it's kind of just a variation on a beverage antenna, if you're familiar with that. So it's a receive only antenna and it is supposed to be very useful in situations where your noise floor is quite high, which mine really can be here in suburbia. I'm looking forward to testing that out hopefully in the next day or so. The only bummer is I picked up 100 feet of wire at Home Depot and I did not read very carefully and realized that I bought THHN wire, which is, the strands are quite thick and it's really just cumbersome to work with. That's okay, we'll make it work. KK7 QES, back to net. This is repeater station Kilo Kilo 7, November. Alright, thanks for your report Justin, that's really, I'd like to name both of the skeletons there. I think it's cool that you're mixing things up a bit every year, for sure. So yeah, good idea looking on eBay for things. Just thinking probably after Halloween, maybe people are just selling their stuff off and you get good deals that time too. I don't know. And yeah, definitely keep us posted on how this loop on ground antenna works out for you both. It's construction, execution and performance. I think going for separate receive and transmitting antennas is a great idea. I think that might be a good means for people in high noise areas. A good way to go in terms of, you know, there are antennas that can reduce noise, loops of any sort, loop on ground. If you have room for a beverage, a real beverage antenna. I've heard of some people doing that. I've always wanted to check a beverage antenna out, although you have to have an enormous amount of space to make that work. I've heard that it can be really quiet noise-wise. Yeah, and then there's lots of other options for transmitting. Let us know how that works and you have a great night. 730 to you. All right, and IO from Cody, 87LR, 730 to you. And now we're going to go to Tim, KS7ZI. Tim, how are you tonight?
