So SpaceX Starship Flight 11 Monday, October 13th, also yesterday, and what a show that was. Apparently, Starship Flight 11 marked a final Block II mission and the last launch from Orbital Launch Mount 1. Every test objective was met, no serious issues, and both stages completed their planned splash downs, or as SpaceX humorously calls it, rapid approved disassemblies. So Starship is the most powerful rocket ever built, generates 17 million pounds of thrust from 33 Raptor engines, roughly double that of Saturn V. It's designed for full reusability and future Mars missions. Some of the highlights from this launch, booster 15 flew for the second time with 24 reused ones, perfect hot staging and boost back sequencing, the booster hovered, shut down, and fell into the gulf for disposal, and ship 38 continued to orbit, released eight dummy Starlink V3 simulators, and executed flawless high heat reentry before a planned splashdown near Western Australia.
