I don't have the radio near me, but it's Quan Sheng and it's a UVK5 slash K6 and then there's a bracket with the number 8 in it. If you went looking for it, you went the K5 slash K6. The radio itself has a silver like border around the screen. The black radio with a silver border around the screen. It's a Quan Sheng UVK5. If someone knows how to spell Quan Sheng off the top of your head, you post that in the text box for Mel. Quan Sheng UVK5 slash K6 with a little brackets, the number 8. And a very cheap radio. You do need to hook it to a computer with a programming cable. So you might need to get one of those if you already don't have a Bofang programming cable. And basically what you do is you download a new firmware for it. So essentially it erases everything that's in it, all the menus and everything that it had in it from the factory. And then it adds a whole bunch of cool ham radio stuff. Expanded bands, you can listen to HF, you can monitor CB. You can even transmit on those frequencies too. If you want to put a CB antenna or something on it, or a long wire, something tuned of course because it doesn't have a tuner. I mean it's a HT. But you can listen to shortwave on it, you can listen to SSB. There's all kinds of crazy stuff you can do with it. But after you flash that custom firmware, it doesn't come that way. And it charges with a USB-C cable, Mel, which is really cool. Back to you.
