If you're looking for a cool radio while you're buying radios, the Kwan Chang UVK5, if you don't have one, that radio is sick. You flash some firmware onto it when you get it and it can receive HF, like I mean like way down. You can listen to CB on it, you can listen to 10 meters, 20 meters, 40 meters, all the way down. And it receives AM and SSD, it can do SSD on 2 meters. Man, the stuff that radio is capable of after a firmware update is just nuts. And they're pretty cheap too.
