QST, QST, QST. Good morning, and welcome to the Worldwide Friendship Net for Monday, October 13, 2025. My name is Dave, Alpha Bravo 7 Delta Whiskey, and I'm located in Aloha, Oregon. This net starts at 7 PM Pacific time, 10 AM Eastern time, and 1400 UTC time right now. Before we begin, I'd like to thank the following amateurs for the use of their repeaters and reflectors so we can bring this net to you. Michael Wolpus, W8MW, for the use of the 9617 Michigan reflector and 96170 Michigan conference server. I'd like to thank Dale Wilford, V01UKZ, for linking in to DoDropIn and DoDropIn2 so those folks can be in with us. And all the known owners and all of you for being here to make it a good net. Again, we're on 365 days a year, and we have been for 17 years so far. So there you go. Hopefully, we'll do another decade or two. Emergency stake top priority on this net and every other net on amateur radio. If you have an emergency that we can help with, break the net with a double break, and we'll stop the net, help you any way we can, and go on from there. This is a popular net, and to make it fair for all users, check-ins lasting more than four minutes, including bike drops, may be muted by a net control to allow everybody to get into this very busy net. I have a question of the day today. It's a little different than usual Monday mornings. And I've asked this question before, but I'm going to ask it again and see if anybody's changed their mind. And that is, how likely are you to buy or lease a battery electric vehicle or a hybrid in 2026 coming up here? If you've changed your mind or you have an opinion on that, I'd like to hear about it. All right, let's take some first round of check-ins. We'll make that short time and mobile. So short time and mobile stations only. Come in now with your call sign slowly in phonetics and twice. Victor Oscar 1, uniform kilo Zulu. Victor Oscar 1, uniform kilo Zulu. Good morning, Dave.
