Net control, W8WW, good evening Brian, everybody on the net. First day back after three days in Florida. Did a double today, so I played P25 for 16 hours. Went down to the Melbourne Hamfest there outside Corco Beach. Had a nice time meeting everyone. Weather was a bit rainy here and there. But ended up buying an older 2 meter mobile rig for a friend and neighbor along with a power supply. I think this is going to be easy enough to manage compared to how complex these newer radios are. But also bought a Zygote G90. Had an agreement with a gentleman to purchase one off Facebook marketplace. But when I landed he was like, well I decided to talk it over with my wife and I decided to keep this. I'm like, well at least he gave me the 5 minute notice. I was telling this to a gentleman who was across from me. He goes, you know, I got a Zygote here for sale. And I was able to buy it for the same price I made on the other one. So I'm happy on that. I think I'm going to try to introduce a new form. You've got parks on the air, islands on the air, and all that fun stuff. I think I'm going to call it Pools on Amateur Radio. You go traveling, you can sit up by the pool, maybe put up a little vertical or guy pool or whatever and operate. We'll call it Polar for short. But other than that, not much going on.
