Okay, well, I wanted to mention that I went to CivicCon yesterday, which is the three day ham event over in services go by area and I got talking to the people over there about the iCom IC7300 because there's a lot of them out there I talked to a lot of Canadians to help them Now, I asked them about what was going to be the improvements with the Mark II and they said only a few things were going to happen, but guess what? They're going to raise the price of about another three or four hundred dollars and I said well, let's just not keep my iCom 7300 Now, for you, I've got a suggestion You know, you need a rig and I would look at the used market and really, my Kenwood TS570 is now over twenty years old and I bought it used on QRZCom and you know, I paid about eight hundred dollars and that was with a fancy desk mic and everything else and the price at that time on that radio was about twelve hundred and so I saved quite a bit of money by buying a used unit and again, well, it's that old and it's still functional works really good, the only thing that changes is the memory battery and so I just bought a, because I want to change HTs, my Fusion HT, Kenwood so I changed over and, I mean, iCom, so anyway, I changed over and I went to the Yeisu, right by there but anyway, what I did is I bought one on eBay yesterday and it was a hundred forty dollars with an extra battery and everything and if I would have bought a new unit, it would have been another hundred dollars above that so look at that market there and HEMs are really honest and they'll give you a good appraisal of it and you can get a really nice used unit at a really a reduction in price rather than buying new units, plus you avoid the tariffs and do everything so that's my concept of the day so yeah, Pacific Com was really interesting yesterday it was really a learning adventure
