VA6 GIZ returning. Yesterday at the swap meet, the QC Quarter Century Club local chapter. I'm officially not a member because I haven't paid my dues. They had the annual swap meet, or not annual but quarterly swap meet. I'm going to have to wait until the spring to renew my dues. I got another rotator and it was a ham too with the controller and I'm not going to have any connection issues I hope. I'm right in the middle of splicing and soldering the wires from the male connector to the long 8 wire cable. And then I lucked out in getting a Yaesu FT8208R handheld VHF. Pretty old. For free. And a heath kit. I owe $45.41 oscillator for $5. It was listed at 10 but when Neil the president came on he said everything is half off so I got it for $5. So I'm figuring it out in a bit as well.
