It fell off the side of the hill, and it didn't like the impact. And yeah, generally it's really pretty tough. It's a carbon fiber, and it really should be able to tie it into a knot, but it hit a rock just right and just snapped. So that's OK. At least the replacement parts will be fairly inexpensive, but I'm just going to have to wait a minute before I can get it, because it comes from gigaparts.
