And Cooper pairs, they follow some different quantum mechanical rules and those of electrons. Instead of stacking onto each other form energy shells, they act like particles of light or photons, and infinite number of which can be occupied at the same point in space at the same time. So they basically make one big macro particle. And enough of these super pairs are created throughout a material, they become a super fluid. And that's flowing through any lots of energy from electrical resistivity. And to make the discovery, researchers lit two superconductors between a thin, insulating barrier. And that was created an experimental set up known as the Josephson junction.
