And right now there's not a huge amount of treatments for depression. There's some of the old stand-by anti-depression medications. Even they've been using some magnetic resonance therapies for people too. And then in some of the worst case, the depression. When everything else fails, occasionally ECT is employed. But there's not a lot out there. And of course therapy, usually anti-depressant medication is also in conjunction with therapy. Just dropping. And just quickly, anti-depressant, they still don't know entirely how they work. But they're thought to work by increasing neurotransmitters like serotonin and noradrenaline. And both of these can improve mood and emotions. They can also disrupt pain signals sent by nerves. And some anti-depressants can help with the long-term pain. Antipressants therefore inhibit the breakdown of serotonin and noradrenaline in dopamine. Preservation is thought to improve the neurotransmission. So they also increase the re-uptake of serotonin. They increase the release of serotonin and norepinephrine. Just dropping.
