And this is the H3 chance. Difference between a rock and a mineral. A rock is basically a conglomerate of minerals. A mineral is really just something made of one specific substance. You can have maybe, let's say, carbon and silicon and something, like quartz, for instance, silicon dioxide. But for silicon dioxide, it's silicon dioxide. But a rock is just basically something that's made up of minerals. A mineral is something that's uniformed through its composition. And they are what forms rocks, like granite, for instance. Granite is a composite of quartz, feldspar, and mica. Sometimes you find a little bit of asphalt in it as well. And so they were all minerals that go into making up granite.
