You know amongst some of my friends I go by D as well It's not common amongst a lot of people I also go by DC sometimes That's how my Facebook profile lists this way. My name is DC Warford and that's because my first two initials are DC And it also stands for direct current, which you don't F with Anyway Just here playing a game playing this one called super Lucky's Tale It's like a Super Mario type 3d world adventure where you collect the fun where you're collecting coins and like special items that unlock doors and I'm trying to find I've got this fire cat like your enemies in this winter cats and The one I'm fighting against now is called Master Mittens kind of sounds silly that I mean it is a kid's game It's you know design. It's a cartoony very bright colorful game with really sharp crisp graphics. I'm playing it Past couple of weeks now, and I'm really enjoying it. I've got through like the first three worlds Whenever I have time you know I just pick up the steam deck and I'll play for 15 or 20 minutes Repeater station good thing with the steam that's not like a regular gaming computer Regular gaming computer you got a boot up windows, and then you might need updates And then you got a you know load steam and load your game and blah blah blah probably all that stuff It's like you're like 10 minutes in right So if you only got 15 minutes to play a game you know in between doing something else And you got to load all that stuff up then That's like 10 minutes of your 15 minutes gone right there Just getting into your game before you can even start playing, but the steam deck It is steam. It's loaded. It doesn't load windows. It doesn't run windows it runs steam OS so that makes it like a console like a PlayStation 5 or or PlayStation 4 or something like that you know you get a menu when you turn it on you get a menu and it shows all Your games and you pick your game at loads you play it But if you're already playing a game you can just hit the power button And it puts the system into suspend mode and then when you go back to it you hit the button it comes up Exactly where you were in the game like right down to the frame you were asked In the game, and then you can just play on so like if you've got 15 minutes to play you get your 15 minutes to play There's no load in anything you can leave this thing off for weeks and It'll keep your exact state when the power button was pressed now You can put it in a power off space where you got to you know just boot it up and boot back into steam again But it only takes like half a minute to do that as opposed to Several minutes booting up windows loading steam and then load your game and updates and all that nonsense right Steam OS doesn't do any of that. It'll just suspend no matter
