This is KN4LBF. This is Dee. Good morning, Kevin. Good morning, everyone. I woke up like always, a gay gratitude. And, um, still having problems with my internet. Um, got two computers up. One running Windows 11, which is... The Windows 11 wiped out my keyboard. And, um, I have an old clunker here that I'm using right now. And, you know, with, uh, I think it only has six or four RAMs of, of whatever memory. And it doesn't run too many things. I'm waiting for a couple of things to come in from Amazon to try to get these upgraded and fixed. But, um, I guess I'm gonna have to break out the cache and get me a new, uh, laptop and stuff. I don't know. Anyway, I'm, you know, these updates, they don't give you a choice. They just force you into it. And I woke up three days ago, and, um, this is a problem. Anyway, back to you, Kevin. KN4LBF. Yep, well, many a times, computers have you pulling their hair out. Anymore now, I try to do as much as I can with my phone. And I have an old-ass computer, even older than yours. XP. I'm still running XP. The way I get away with it is I just drive it with my phone. Um, I do all my web browsing through my phone, and then there's a few things that I can still manage and use. And so, I get around it that way. So, just when I kind of need a computer to do certain things, it'll come in on a pinch that way. But, uh, anymore now, I do tons of stuff with my blind shell. Um, because even the laptop that I have, it's an old-ass. It's not even older than XP. I think it's like, God, I think it's like, uh, CE. Windows CE. That's like what the BrailleNote used to use. So, yeah, everything's ancient here, and I'm basically holding on to dear life. Good luck with your computer woes. Yes, I heard you discussing it with the group days ago. I heard you talking when Russ was taking the check-ins, I heard that you mentioned it. So, yup, and those were the exact things you said. You ready to pull your hair out? Well, yeah, they cause headaches, that's for sure. That's getting them. Nothing that I look forward to dealing with, that's for sure. Could you imagine still using Windows century, though? That's insane. Yeah, the BrailleNote had that, and then you could do just minimal things with it. And I don't... Um... At the California house, I still have a BrailleNote there. Yeah, anymore now. Even like note takers, right? I think the blind shell rivals a lot of note takers, even. For a blind person, you could go out and spend like 20 grand on one of those new things, the BrailleNote Apex. And it'll do all your internet stuff, but then a good majority of it, you use your phone, right? Just like even a Victor stream is pretty neat, right? Because it does internet stuff, and it's a streaming device, but it's hella expensive. A good number of things people do on those, I use my blind shell phone. But who knows? Maybe at some point, I might cop up something and get one of these newer version Victor streams. So I could do a few things like, you know, get on BARD with it and get books. My cousin Trevor has an account, an American BARD account, so I'd have to dupe his or whatever. So what I do now, what he does now, is if I have a request, if I have certain things I'm interested in, he has to go through the rigors of converting it to MP3 for me if I ask for something. So if I end up doing that independently, he'll be more than happy to share his account with me because right now it's kind of a pain in the ass because if I need a release, he almost pretty much has to rerecord it for me. Short answer. And then he uses Audacity and stuff like that, and he basically beats it into the format I want, but it's just high maintenance. So honestly, I think he hides what I ask. Alright.
