N90FU via VA3KK1. This is KC2PKG. Big buildings around our area. Well, there aren't any. I think three stories is about the limit for any of the buildings. However, we do have structures around here. We have Well, there's a radar dome on top of the cliff over by the ocean, which I always look at with lust in my eyes because I think they're very cool. And it's just perched way up on a cliff. It's wild, but much larger than that is the Cutler Naval Base. And they have sort of a Cold War ELF set up. And that's so they can transmit through water to submarines and send messages out. They don't use it anymore. They send the weather out once in a while. That's it. But I think about eight towers that are 250 feet high and huge cables are draped between the towers and I hear that the grounds go out miles on the floor of the ocean. But they got big red lights on them flashing all the time. I got a friend who lives Just down the beach from the Cutler Naval Base. And that's what they look at every night. He's pulsing red lights way up in the air. It's pretty cool and I've never actually looked at it, but I have a piece of software. If you have a laptop. And we've got we'll pick it up. And what you do is you put a sort of random length of wire into the headphone jack and it will pick up whatever it's sending out sends it out in code. And then you could decipher it and know what the weather is. So I don't know if they send weather maps or not. It's extremely slow. It's like 50 baud or something like that. But it's cool. It's cool. And I can actually see it from I have to stand way out in front of my house, but I can see it. Just look down the lake and see the towers in Cutler. So back to you Kevin da3 KKY. This is KC2 BP
