Good morning to you and to the group. I haven't checked in for a couple of days so I figured I'd go ahead and check in. Even though I didn't check in, I'm always listening. I'm just sitting on the couch watching a little TV while I listen to you guys. Not doing much today. I did wake up early this morning and peeled a bunch of apples and sliced them and got the seeds out and cored them and smothered them in cinnamon. I stuck them in the food dehydrator and now I'm dehydrating the apples. During a couple more hours when they're done, I'm going to use those to make some apple cinnamon bread for french toast. I think I already told you guys that I was going to do that but I'm finally getting around to doing that. That's about all I'm doing today. I'm getting ready also to make some homemade stew. I don't make stew like most people. I don't like fat on meat. When I usually make my stew, I usually buy a nice, big, thick cut of London broil. Then I dice that up and sear it all and stick it in my stew with all the fixings. The potatoes, the carrots, and all that good stuff. Since it's not a really nice day, really cloudy, I don't think it's supposed to rain. If you're having a nice hot beef stew for dinner tonight, it would hit really nicely. That's all I'm doing.
