Alrighty Mel, I'm not sure if my landline, if the phone company goes through a satellite tower or not. I believe it's just a regular landline still. And I do use it to send an occasional fax for my wife's job or something like that. That's really about it. We don't really do too much with the phone. I leave it there just for emergencies. But as far as I know, it's still an actual landline. It's not connected to the modem or anything. We don't have the internet phone. But we do have our cell phones. We all have cell phones. But I keep it just in case of an emergency if for some reason the cell phone, cell service is down or whatever, which very rarely it is. We have AP and P. And it's very rarely down if ever. But I don't know. Old fashioned, I don't know. But I still keep a regular landline. And so far it works. I just checked it this morning. It's still working. But I appreciate you checking.
