Jerzy Kosinski. I'm trying to look it up. I was in the terminal application by accident. I'm just going to search his type of name. Kosinski. See what it comes up with. Jerzy Kosinski. Polish born American writer and two time president of the American chapter of PEN. Who wrote primarily in English. There he is. I think I recognize his photograph. Was Jerzy Kosinski a real person? Yes. Born in 1933 in Lodz, Poland. And his early life was profoundly impacted by the trauma of World War II. During which he was separated from his Jewish parents and spent years in survival mode. What is the meaning of the novel being there? Explores themes of identity, perception, and the influence of media. What books did Jerzy Kosinski write? Oh my gosh, look at them all. The Painted Bird Being There, Steps, The Devil Tree, The Hermit of 69th Street, Cockpit. At least six, but I'm sure he wrote more than that. But those titles come right up. You know what, I've never read the novel of being there. I didn't know there was one, so now I have to go. I need to read the book. Anyway, thank you Louie for that really awesome talk.
