Yeah, JV0MAI, good morning to the group. I hadn't heard that about Daryl, about the troops actually up to Oregon yet, so I don't know. Oh, you know, it's the beginning of the week, it's raining like hell. I really have no idea what I'm going to be doing this week. Another driver got hurt, and that's my driver, but it takes the loads from me and makes the deliveries. So last week I was kind of doing the hodgepodge, the whole bunch of different things, and now this week I'm headed back into the orange. So they hired an owner-operator to make the deliveries up here. So I'm just bringing it up to him, and then he's making the deliveries, and we'll see how well that works out. Don't know how long this is going to go on. Of course, I was told that if he doesn't come back to work, that they're going to hire another driver up here in the Des Moines area. And they'll just be making deliveries one day, runs directly from my yard, and just go up the front porch and give it to the owner-operator. So it beats the hell out of me what I'm going to be doing here in a few weeks. It could be, I don't know, it could be going on like this for a while, or it might not. I'm not really too worried about it. You want to reset? And weekend was great. It was a good weekend. I got a lot of work done. Did my handy-dandy work for that drive-thru for the tracks in the driveway. At first I thought, oh boy, I really screwed this up. But after I kind of sanded it down and got to the track itself, it was nice and hard. I went ahead and my car washed most of my driveway after that fact, and the water was holding it. It wasn't going down in the track, so mission accomplished. And the best thing that's happened so far this week has just happened today. There's this place I went to about four weeks ago, five weeks ago. It was a Harley dealer. They were having a live band there. I went up there primarily to do a shoot, you know, film the band, maybe get a little street-scalve at the end. I got a great shot of the band, a couple great shots of the band. Then I also got this really good shot of this guy walking in front of a gray, gray building, wood railing, grass on the ground. It was like he had a purpose in life. He was going somewhere, right? And did a lot of editing of it, and then I put it up on Flickr. That's where I post most of my stuff. It's kind of a place I can put all my stuff at and do everything that's stored up there. And then occasionally, if I think there's something that's halfway decent, I will actually share it to several groups. You know, and it's a hit or miss type of thing, you know, if people like it or not. I mean, I've got something like 1,700, 1,800 pictures up here, right? So, you know, not all of them are going to be looked at. But anyways, my point is, this particular picture I've been debating for quite some time. If I was going to show it to a group, then I'd like to do a write-up on it at some point. So I could treat, could, could treat, could treat. That's a hard word to say this morning. My photo and wrote about it and said what was good about it and what was bad about it. And said that this is basically what you're looking for, a street photo. And I posted it yesterday evening. And I got a couple of hits, you know, people, you know, we can get, we like this photo, that kind of thing. And I woke up to get ready for work. That's when Europe is getting out of bed, of course. And for some reason, my work feels better in Europe than it does here in the United States. But I started getting notifications like several, several an hour. And then halfway through the middle of the night, I was getting even more notifications. They were coming in like one every, every two or three minutes, you know. And so when I got up here to the yard, I stopped and I opened up my thing and I got the Explorer Award again. I've only had it like four or five times. Now the Explorer Award is basically, the word is like enough by the Explorer team. You can't, you can't post anything on Explorer. It's kind of only the best of the best work goes up there. All right. And so, boom, I'm on there. It's been almost a year, so well, yeah, almost a year probably since I hit the last one. So now it's being shown worldwide in all countries that have with 2G and Flickr. That means millions and millions of people will probably see this photo and I just, I like it. It starts to be recognized once in a while, you know. But now this is the cool thing, the real cool thing. Um, when you get on Flickr, Explorer Award, right, they're saying it's good enough to show anywhere. And four or five pictures that I have that I've won the Flickr Award on, including this one today, these are all good enough like I could send them to art galleries and sell it type stuff. And I've never done it, but I've been thinking about taking these five photos and actually, you know, putting them on the market. And now that I have a little bit of a, you know, a portfolio that I think I could show, I'm thinking about going ahead and doing it and seeing if I can actually get it in art galleries to sell. It's difficult, it's expensive, but it's something I like to try. But that's what's going on today with me. Thanks, Greg. That's my control, KB0MAI. KB0MAI, this is KC2PKT. Congratulations, man. That is great. Worldwide coverage and recognition. That must make you feel pretty good. Yeah, I used to, every once in a while I'd have a column that went out over the wire services and so I'd start getting messages from England and France and stuff like that about what I'd written. And it made me feel good. So you'd serve. Well, you work hard at it. You know, and that's an important component. It obviously shows in your work. I'll have to jump on your website and look at that. WE2APAT. Haven't heard from you in a while, so catch us up. What's going on? How was your weekend? How was the Learnatorium? Some of the questions for you. This is KC2PKT. Over to you, WE2A.
