Well, my wife, Linda Lou KC7YTD, we studied together for generals and we both got them. And then, I don't know, a year or two later we were studying for extra. She's smart. She was on the honor roll in high school and stuff. I just barely made it through. Anyway, we took the study together like we did for the general and I thought we were maybe okay, even took a class with the club. We've got about 200 members that are good. I haven't been to a meeting for a little while because of my back. But anyway, she passed the extra test and I missed by three questions. I just decided that I never use those bands anyway. Actually, I could use her license. She's here and I can talk on the extra bands, I guess. I don't quite know how I do that, but whether I use her call or my call and put hers in too. Anyway, I never talk on those bands I need anyway. I'll probably just stick with the general. I've got an HF with long wire. I've got a 50-foot tower that I was given. At my age, I don't think I'm going to mess with it now. I'm just going to use the long wire. I don't really DX anyway. I don't get much out of just exchanging call signs. I want to talk to people like I'm talking to you. I enjoy that. Find out what your hobbies are and all that. I have a lot of hobbies. I used to. Photography and woodworking and stuff. I got a full shop downstairs, but I just don't get down that much anymore. Everybody likes to travel or did travel much. There you go. Just trying to make it through the days. KV7, PVW.
