Well I'm an old bow hunter from the 60s and I haven't gone hunting for a long time but one time out here 10 or 15 miles west of me here from Portland, Rock Creek Gulf they had archery golf and so you would shoot your arrow and then you would go pick it up and you'd shoot it again maybe depending what the par was and then they had a big plastic ball there on the green and when you got close enough then you would just shoot the ball and that was your score so that was a lot of fun I only did it one time but I didn't win anything of course but it's amazing how far you can shoot an arrow probably I don't know 200 yards maybe I'm not sure. Of course I've got compound bows there but boy I haven't picked up my bow in years probably 25 years we'll see but I enjoyed it and yeah when you get to be 83 you know all your relatives die my brothers sisters are all gone my only thing I've got is cousins and nieces and nephews it's amazing so yeah if you call up one of your friends and say hello they may not be there you know in the future they never know KV7PVW located in Shelton, Washington
