I didn't know both had enough memory in the radio to hold all the signs that are actually registered for like DMR. So I mean usually right now you should have the storage of at least 500,000 entries for the DMR side. If that's what you're doing, just DMR. Now on my open spot, my DMR I don't have to download and restore it on my open spot. So when I see a call sign on the DMR side, it will actually identify who the hell I'm talking to on my screen, which helps out a lot. You know we could talk about this crap for days and still not cover everything it could do. Yeah, it's a deep deep deep rabbit hole. The radio I've got has the ability to run a screen, well not the radio, the PiStar node has the ability to run a screen that will display all that information. I don't know what else it gives besides what I can see on the web interface. So I'm hoping the web interface is enough because I'm running mine without a screen for now. The radio won't hold apparently the entire database, but it'll hold North America for sure. You can pick and choose who you program in, and then you can also program in all your analog channels because the radio does both. So for me it sounds ideal, we're going to see. Like I say it's something to play with through the winter. I had to rebuild my all-star node yesterday because I screwed it up. So I'm getting faster at doing it so that's a good thing. And I got to get the PiStar into a different case because I designed and printed a case for it, but it was running stupid hot. So I got to redesign the upper half of the case and put in some venting and a fan and all that good kind of stuff.
