You can do most of that without your advance. I mean if you're going to run a repeater or run repeaters, get someone who will pro-time for you. Otherwise you could do all of that without your advance. Oh no, you're not allowed to build your own equipment and use it. If it's not commercially available, you're not supposed to be building it. So, and I like building stuff. From what I understand, not even supposed to, even if it's a commercial kit, you can buy the kit but you can't use the kit. The rules are really, really weird. So, right now I've got all the privileges to all the frequencies, which is great. But, you know, I've got my L-Star node that I built. I've got a Pi-Star node that I built, not built, set up. I'd like to put a little amp on each of them, get them hooked up into a duplexer into the disk cone outside. And then I'll be able to wander around my little town and talk, which would be nice.
