Oh No worries. No worries. They're joining. I'll call you guys later for your regular check-in And now I just wanted to get an update and I'm glad glad things worked out It sounds like Murphy's law in reverse that the parking spot became available. I Think they're gonna have to change Murphy's law to mayo's law because I swear if it can go bad. It's gonna happen Well not involved. So I don't know but well, that's good news good news, and I hope everything heals up fast for you I'll call you, you know 40 minutes into the netter. So So with that we're ready for a regular irregular and all that fun check-ins, but today's question of the day Let me lead up to it today is 10 for day Today as many seasoned hands may cringe at the mention of CB radio yet many of us started with our 11 meter rigs CB radio was created in 1945 and in 1978 president Jimmy Carter declared October 4th national 10 for day to acknowledge CB radios contributions And if you remember those of us are that old remember CB radio was the first widespread two-way communications for the average person and for the first time we had two-way mobile communications in just about every car remember the big ol antenna sticking out of every car back in those days even classic cars and Getting your license was as simple as sending in your fee and getting your call sign No test was required and I am going back there. So Anyway today's question of the day What was your CB radio handle? I know a lot of us probably most of us were on CB radio So what was your CB radio handle and do you remember what your call sign was? I think that's gonna be a tough one there So I'll tell you what mine was my my handle was the night prowler I Used to prowler on the night. Yep. Yep And also that was the name of the AC DC song the night prowler and my call sign I remember KND 3893 to this day. I've used that call sign. I got it in around 1970 so Anyway, I'm ready for check-ins anyone anywhere. Please come now
