Hello Jack, I'm slowly driving myself nuts. I mentioned the other day that I was going to be using this Kenwood D700 as a temporary rig in my car and for some reason I could not find the cable that attaches between the control head and the main unit so I went on eBay and ordered another cable which I did receive about a week or two ago and I looked at the cable and I said yep that's the cable and I put it someplace and it kind of stands out from all my other cables because instead of being black it's grey and so it's easily recognizable but I haven't seen it. I've been looking around for it for the last three or four days and I cannot find that cable and so I'm still just using my HT in the car for my mobile radio which has been working out fairly well but it just makes me crazy that I lose things like this I need to get, well we all know I need to get better organized but it makes me crazy. So anyway I'm going to be going to a movie this afternoon with a friend, I can't remember the name of it, it's that, dang, this movie has gotten some kind of mixed reviews and I'm going to be in order to copy it I guess as the guy, anyway you'll know the name of the movie and I've forgotten it but anyway that's what I'm scheduled to do this afternoon and meanwhile it looks like a pretty nice day, the sun is kind of peeking out here in Shoreline north of Seattle and I'm guessing it is in your area also, KI7ZEI.
